The lambs are fit and well , one boy and one girl. The girl is clearly much bigger than the boy and I've kept them in for now, as the other sheep tend to start bossing them.

I'm having the vet over this morning to 'ring' the boy -

( don't ask!) and see to Molly's terribly overgrown hooves. It was an ideal opportunity while she's penned up......one of the reasons her hooves have got so bad is the long-running saga on actually catching her....

I'm not happy with Molly's condition either. she seems very dull and isn't feeding. Maybe when she's let out she'll have more motivation. We'll see. ..

Very cold still, and the morning feed, hay and water run was a real trial this morning - my fingers were numb with cold! Anyway, another day of working in the kitchen as the office faces the east and is feels almost like it's open-air. I'm also starting my next book, which isn't quite a diet book but more a sort-of all-round beauty and body book and I do so love writing a new book. Unlike magazine columns, in which you are constantly trying to limit your word count, a book allows you room to breathe and write more fulsomely. I also love printing out the day's work and sitting down last thing to read it through as if it were a book, and that task is very enjoyable to me.
